Smoovie scam7/3/2023 ![]() ![]() Ninja trading in my book counts as scamming because of the intent to be dishonest and the intent behind who ninja traders target. There are different types of scams on CS and ninja trading is just one. But you’re viewing scamming in a very very narrow definition. If I told them their Sunjewel was only worth a couple ‘09 rare horses, I’d be scamming. For that reason I personally don’t trade newborns (unless I know exactly what it’s growing into like 2nd gens) That wouldn’t be ninja trading, that would be trading and getting lucky. That’s the risk a user assumes when they trade newborns. If a pet has three outcomes two uncommon and one rare/very rare, you traded for the newborn, and it grew into the rare/very rare outcome, then no, it’s not your fault it grew that way. There is a HUGE **** DIFFERENCE between the two of them! If I get a pet from someone and it turns out to be rare, but I only paid a common for it, I didn’t **** scam them, I just ninja-traded them by accident. It’s dishonest and if there’s one thing I loathe above all it’s dishonesty. ![]() The “not telling the user at all what the pet is worth” part is what gets me. There’s a big difference between not knowing rarities on both sides (which isn’t uncommon!) and deliberately preying on newbies who don’t know rarities. Ninja-Trading = Getting a pet for cheap by either not telling the user at all what the pet is worth, or not knowing yourself. That would be the simplest kind of trade scam. Scamming = actually telling someone that their pet is worth less than it is to get it for cheaper. Jesus people, you need to learn your **** definitions before you start accusing people of scamming. Otherwise, the original poster’s message is unedited. Mod note: I censored swearing to keep this blog linkable on CS. ![]()
